Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Statra.

Last updated 7 August 2026

In plain terms. Use Statra to run your teams. Your data stays yours, and you can take it or delete it. Pay for the seats you use; cancel whenever and it runs to the end of the period you paid for. Don't use it to harass anyone or to publish children's information.

These terms are between you and Statra, a d/b/a of Jeffrey Kiyomura ("Statra", "we"). By creating an account or using the Statra app or website, you agree to them.

1. Who may use Statra

You must be 13 or older to hold an account. If you are under 18, you may use Statra only with a parent's or guardian's permission.

If you set up a club or team account on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to act for it, and these terms bind that organisation.

2. Your account

Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.

Roles decide what you can do. A club owner or coach can add teams, edit rosters and invite people; a parent or viewer can follow along. We may change what a role can do as the product develops, and we will not use that to take away something you have paid for.

3. Your data is yours

Teams, rosters, schedules and statistics you enter belong to you or your club, not to us. We store and process them so the product works, and for nothing else. We do not sell them, and we do not use them to advertise to you.

You can delete a team, a game or your account at any time. See the Privacy page for what that removes and what stays with the team.

4. Rosters and other people's children

When you enter a roster you are entering information about other people, often minors. You confirm you are entitled to do so as part of running that team, and you agree to enter no more than the game requires — a name and a jersey number. Do not put a child's contact details, address, birth date or medical information into any field in Statra.

Teams are treated as under-13 by default for anything that would be shown publicly. If you change that setting you are stating that the team is not under 13.

5. Acceptable use

We can suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.

6. Free and paid plans

A club can run up to five teams free, with no limit on staff, for as long as it likes. Beyond that a club buys seats.

A seat is a team or a person on your club's staff. On a paid plan every team counts, including the ones that were free. Prices are shown on the Pricing page before you buy and again at checkout.

Paying

Plans renew automatically each month or year until cancelled. Paying by card is charged at the start of each period. Clubs buying ten seats or more may instead pay by invoice on net 30 terms, payable by bank transfer or wire at a lower per-seat rate.

Payments are handled by Stripe. Their terms apply to the payment itself, and we never see your card or bank details.

Changing seats

You can add seats whenever you like; the difference is charged straight away. You can reduce seats down to the number your club is actually using — we cannot sell you fewer seats than you occupy.

Cancelling and refunds

Cancel any time. Club tools keep working until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then stop. We do not refund the remainder of a period. Your teams, games and statistics are not deleted — they stop being part of a club and go back to their coaches.

If a payment fails we will keep your club running while we retry, and tell you. Nobody loses access mid-season over a card that expired; access ends only once payment has definitively failed.

If we ever change prices we will tell you before your next renewal, and you can cancel instead.

7. Availability

Statra is built to keep working in a gym with no signal, and the scorebook on your phone does not depend on us being reachable. The online parts — syncing, the club dashboard, notifications — we aim to keep available, but we do not promise a particular uptime and they may be interrupted for maintenance or by our providers.

8. Changes to the service

We will add, change and occasionally remove features. If we remove something significant that you are paying for, we will tell you and you may cancel and stop being charged.

9. Liability

Statra is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, or lost opportunity. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim — or, if you have paid nothing, to one hundred US dollars.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Statra and delete your account at any time. We can end these terms if you break them, or if we discontinue the service — in which case we will give reasonable notice and a way to export your data.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, and any dispute will be handled by the state or federal courts located in California.
